StyleNet

I designed and implemented a neural network architecture that could learn musical style from the dynamics of music. A dataset called "The Piano Dataset" was created and is publicly available for download.

Rollout

Rollout is an augmented reality robot battle game. The game included two spherical robots in a projected virtual arena.

I designed a real-time tracking system using image processing while working within the constraints of the colours and objects in the game environment. Other contributions included game design, and creating a 3D sound system suitable for public showcasing.

Two Phase Genetic Algorithm for CVRP

I designed and impleneted a two-phase genetic algorithm to optimise the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem.

Particle Filter

I implemented a particle filter to localise a robot on any given map. Pathfinding was implemented using the wavefront algorithm.

Github

Superscalar Processor

A simulator for a superscalar out-of-order processor that uses Tomasulo's algorithm. The simulator is written in Python.

Hallucigif

Hallucigif is a web application which allows usesr to deep dream-ify any youtube video and convert it into a GIF.

Github

Raytracer

A simple raytracer implemented in C++. Different methods of Global Illumination were experimented with.

Github

Rasterizer

A simple rasterizer with textures implemented in C++.

Smple

Smple is a single page web application that allows you to find musical events around you. You can listen to audio samples of artists, decide whether you like what you hear, and click to buy your tickets!

The Khamsa

I designed an Olympiad robot character called "The Khamsa" which would play for the Pakistani hockey team. I was particularly inspired by Pakistani truck art. The character was modelled in Autodesk Maya.
